• Events Tears and despair after the mysterious death of Fernando, the missing minor in Madrid: "If there is someone responsible, let him pay with the same coin"

  • Events They find the body of Fernando, one of the two missing minors in Madrid, in a landfill in Toledo

The National Police began today Tuesday in the Toledo landfill the search for the minor under 11 years of age who disappeared in Madrid on the 10th, along with his 17-year-old cousin, found dead in the aforementioned facilities five days later.

The agents are already prepared with protective equipment that they must wear in tracking tasks, as well as the necessary specialized machinery.

Precisely, this Sunday, the Spanish Gypsy Society demanded that the Government and specifically the Minister of the Interior be directly involved in the search, as happened in the case of Diana Quer or Julen and others "of great social relevance and much more complex than East".

He also stated that, in the event of not acting with the same determination as in the other cases mentioned, the association would consider that it is about "discrimination and racism", at the same time that it asks the media to deal with this issue "in their top-rated television and investigative programs and that they spread Ángel's photo as much as possible ».

Both cousins, Fernando, 17, and Ángel, 11, lost track of them on December 10, when they went to the Hiper Usera on General Ricardos street in the capital and their whereabouts were never heard from again.

That night they were seen at the Toledo bus station and in other places in the city, such as the Luz de Tajo shopping park.

Fernando's body was found in the Toledo Ecopark on Thursday, December 15, and the investigators, who from the outset have handled a voluntary disappearance and accidental death as the main hypothesis, suspect that the younger cousin suffered the same fate.

The facilities of the aforementioned landfill, according to sources from the Provincial Council, on which they depend, function normally, although in the dumping area under investigation, where the remains of the little Angel could be, nothing is dumped and the waste that should be deposited in that place are left in other dumping spaces of the Ecopark.

The Toledo landfill treats the waste from the Manchego municipalities managed by the Consortium of Environmental Public Services, which provides service to 196 towns in the province.
