“An interdepartmental government commission was created to study the issue of using the property of the Lavra,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying. 

Tkachenko added that the commission will deal with the issue of the preservation and legality of the use of the property of the Lower Lavra for its intended purpose.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Minister of Culture denied the information about the transfer of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra to the jurisdiction of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine supported by the Ukrainian authorities.
