Global Times: Russia shows strength in confronting the West in the military sphere and in the economy

“Russia shows its determination and strength for a long-term confrontation not only with Ukraine, but also with the United States and other Western countries, not only in the military field, but also in the economy,” the newspaper notes.

According to the newspaper's forecasts, next year we can expect both further escalation of the situation in Ukraine and the end of the conflict.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Western countries will soon lose their ability to steer the global economy.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin also noted that Western attempts to isolate Russia have failed.
