Today, Monday, settlers attacked the villages of Orif and Burin, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank, and destroyed Palestinian property, while the occupation forces carried out a new campaign of arrests in the West Bank.

The official in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank, Ghassan Douglas, said that the attackers, who were likely to be from the "Yitzhar" settlement, burned 3 cars in the town of Burin, and also burned a car and attacked a house with stones in the town of Orif.

Douglas added that settler attacks on the two villages were repeated without any settler being arrested by the Israeli occupation army.

According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, settlers carried out 755 attacks in the West Bank from the beginning of the year until December 22, which resulted in the injury of 161 Palestinians, and caused damage to Palestinian property.

On the other hand, the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 13 Palestinians, including released prisoners, in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.

Palestinian human rights organizations reported that the arrests were concentrated in Jenin, Nablus, and Tulkarem in the northern West Bank, and the Jalazoun refugee camp in Ramallah.

Eyewitnesses said that armed clashes took place between Palestinian resistance fighters and the occupation forces during the incursions.
