Suspected shooter in racist attack on Kurds jailed

The 69-year-old man, suspected of having killed three Kurds and injured three other people on Friday in Paris and who recognized a "pathological hatred of foreigners", was indicted on Monday and imprisoned.

The suspect, a retired train driver of French nationality, was indicted by an investigating judge for murder and attempted murder on the grounds of race, ethnicity, nation or religion, as well as for acquisition and unauthorized possession of weapons, said this source.
