Milton Oscarson left the parent club Kumla Hockey in his early teens to play in Örebro.

This year, the 19-year-old is doing his second season in the SHL for Örebro Hockey, but in the JVM context he has no experience.

That's why he thinks it feels extra nice to have teammates Elias Pettersson and shooting star Leo Carlsson with him.

In addition, the former Örebro goalkeeper Marcus Brännman is in the JVM squad, which Sweden sent to Canada.

- It feels like extra security.

You are close with them, so of course it feels great, says Milton Oscarsson.

The match against Austria will be historic.

Then Milton becomes the first player who was brought up in Kumla Hockey to play JVM.

But that's not something he thought about.

- No, I hardly knew that myself.

It's not something I think about right away, but of course it's great fun.

It has always been a dream to play the JVM and especially here in Canada.

Revenge to exact

For Sweden, it ended with a bronze in the JVM earlier this year, after losing to Finland in the semi-finals.

Getting revenge on our eastern neighbor would have tasted good.

But there is a dream scenario that would have hit even higher, according to Milton.

- Winning WC gold against Canada on their home ground would have been very big.

It had been the dream.
