Xinhua News Agency, Guangzhou, December 26 (Reporter Li Jianguo) The Guangdong Provincial Government recently issued a letter in reply to the "Proposal on the Comprehensive Implementation of the Labor Mediation Mechanism in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area", stating that since the Guangzhou Internet Court launched the first cross-Hong Kong and Macao online dispute resolution platform , bringing together 42 mediation institutions and 951 mediators in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, successfully mediating more than 10,000 cross-border disputes.

  According to the letter, Nansha District, Guangzhou has hired seven arbitrators for labor and personnel disputes from Hong Kong and Macao, and launched a cross-border Internet labor arbitration trial mode.

Up to now, Hong Kong and Macao arbitrators have participated in handling 16 labor dispute cases involving Hong Kong and Macao in Nansha District, Guangzhou City, including 4 cross-regional labor dispute cases in the Greater Bay Area.

  According to the letter, the judicial departments of Guangdong and the legal departments of Hong Kong and Macao have held joint meetings of the legal departments of the three places for many times, unveiled the establishment of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mediation Working Committee, and issued and implemented the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mediator Qualification Qualification Evaluation Standards" and "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mediation Standards" Best Code of Professional Conduct for Mediators in the Greater Bay Area.

As specially invited mediators, 90 senior retired judges, commercial lawyers and legal experts from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao fully participated in the mediation of cross-border commercial disputes in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area of ​​Guangdong courts.

  The letter pointed out that Guangdong will strengthen the construction of professional labor mediation and arbitration teams, expand the scope of employment and personnel scale of arbitrators and mediators in Hong Kong and Macao, and issue specific regulations in the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mediator Qualification Qualification Evaluation Standards", and actively cooperate with relevant institutions in Hong Kong and Macao Jointly expand the cooperation of "one test and three certificates" including labor relations coordinators, and carry out pilot work for the certification of labor relations coordinators' professional skill levels.
