A fire broke out tonight in an
underground service gallery between Plaza de Callao, Montera and Plaza de España
in the center of Madrid, with no injuries reported, Madrid 112 Emergencies reported.
In the incident
, 15 Madrid Fire Departments
have intervened, working for several hours to secure the facilities and extinguish the fire and smoke that came out of the
sewers and ventilation ducts.
SAMUR Civil Protection remains at the scene of the event as a preventive measure and the Madrid Municipal Police has cordoned off the area to facilitate the work of the emergency services.
