Six Kurdish fighters and two members of the terrorist organization "ISIS" were killed today, Monday, as a result of an attack launched by the organization's elements on security headquarters, including a prison, in northern Syria, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The Observatory said that among the dead were three members of the Internal Security Forces in a surprise attack carried out by "ISIS" cells on security headquarters near a military intelligence prison in the Intifada neighborhood in the western countryside of Raqqa.

The Observatory added that the security forces of the "Qasd" (Syrian Democratic Forces) thwarted the attack, after violent clashes broke out with members of the terrorist organization.
