It's cold in Korea these days, but the cold is worse in the US.

As a 'winter storm' hit, some areas fell to -50 degrees Celsius.

More than 20 people died and airports and roads were closed.

Buffalo, northern New York, a 'winter storm' blows so much snow that you can't see.



The arctic vortex originating from the poles moved southward, causing strong winds, heavy snow, and a so-called bomb cyclone, or winter storm, accompanied by severe cold.



In the case of Manhattan, New York City, the temperature is currently minus 12 degrees, and the feeling temperature is close to minus 20 degrees.



Even though I'm wearing pretty thick gloves right now, I've been standing there for about 5 minutes and my hands are so cold that they hurt.



However, this is one of the hottest areas in the United States.



In some places, the temperature has dropped below minus 50 degrees.



Over 20 people have been killed across the United States so far, including four dead in a 46-car crash in Ohio due to heavy snowfall.



As power outages continued, electricity supply to 1.8 million households was cut off at one time, and airports, roads, and waterways were also closed, leaving travelers stranded one after another.
