The alarm came in just after 3pm on Sunday.

- The barn must be completely burnt down, said SOS Alarm, which is responsible for the Bergslagen rescue region initially.

The police are also on the scene and assisting the emergency services.

- We'll see if we're going to investigate this later, if there's been a crime, but we don't know yet, says the officer on duty at the police.

Trying to prevent spread

At 4:10 p.m., Nicole, team leader at SOS Alarm who is responsible for the Bergslagen rescue region, says that the rescue service's forecast is that they should be ready on site around 5:30 p.m.

They are then working hard to suppress the fire and prevent it from spreading.

At 5 p.m., the fire has not spread further.

The emergency services have not found the source of the fire yet.

Right now they are removing sheet metal from the roof, says Nicole, team leader at SOS Alarm.
