“In the Kupyansk direction, artillery strikes hit the manpower and military equipment of the units of the 14th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the settlement of Petropavlovka and the 92nd mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the settlement of Krakhmalnoe, Kharkiv region.
Up to 50 Ukrainian servicemen, four armored combat vehicles and two pickup trucks were destroyed,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
It is noted that in the Krasnolimansky direction, as a result of attacks by Russian troops on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, more than 40 Ukrainian militants, three armored combat vehicles and four vehicles were destroyed.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Russian Aerospace Forces fighters shot down Ukrainian Su-27 aircraft and Mi-24 and Mi-8 helicopters in the Donetsk People's Republic.
