People's Power urged Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myeong to cooperate with the investigation, who suggested refusing to comply with the prosecution's summons related to the 'Suspicion of Seongnam FC'.
In a commentary today, chief spokesman Yang Geum-hee said to CEO Lee Jae-myeong, "If you are proud, go to the prosecution," and "If you are not guilty, you will come out confidently through the door you entered. What are you afraid of?"
Chief Spokesman Yang said, "The Seongnam FC case of Lee Jae-myeong, then mayor, began during the Moon Jae-in administration and was handed over to the prosecution as a police investigation."
Then, he said, "Representative Lee, who is already receiving a political break from the same party lawmakers for party privatization," he said, "what more can I do to paralyze the National Assembly and embarrass everyone for my own bulletproof?"
Chief spokesman Yang repeatedly pressed Lee to cooperate with the investigation, saying, "I hope you will not show any more cowardice."
