The Central African government denies the “

treasury tensions

” mentioned by a “Memo” from its Ministry of Finance on December 16.

He had in fact announced the suspension of “

all expenditure

” of the State “

until further notice

”.

But this Saturday, December 24, the Minister of Communication and government spokesperson, Serge Ghislain Djorie, argued that the salaries of civil servants had indeed been paid from December 20.

He explained that the “Memo” was actually a “

trap

 ” set to “

shed light on the true friends

” of the Central African Republic.

The spokesperson for the Central African government, Serge Ghislain Djorie, explains the meaning of the “Memo” of December 16.

“

We have simply set a trap to find out who are the ones who really have heart with the Central African Republic.

Since the Central African Republic for some time has been the subject of pressure, defamation campaigns, smear campaigns.

This is why we held a meeting and then asked the Minister to take this note subjectively to find out whether there are people who are at heart with the Central African Republic

”, specifies Minister Serge Ghislain Djorie.

“There is no tension from the Treasury”

“

The text was signed on December 16 of this year and on December 20 we paid the salaries.

And all government bond spending.

Now, I am simply confirming to you that there is no Treasury tension in the Central African Republic.

The Central African Republic is the object of blackmail, blackmail campaigns, smear campaigns.

So we just want to identify the true friends of the Central African Republic.

But that doesn't mean that against all development projections, we don't have to justify it either.

That, we know that we have a lot of challenges to overcome since the CAR has emerged from a crisis, so naturally the need is enormous

 , ”added the minister.
