Theo Larsson, Alvin Andersson and some friends were out driving an A-tractor when they stopped at a quarry north of Uppsala, an area where you can extract gravel.
Once there, they walked to a cliff and when Alvin reached the edge, he lost consciousness and fell 30 meters down the cliff, into the water.
- I shouted to my friends to call 112 and then I ran down and jumped in the water, says Theo.
Praised as a lifesaver
Now Theo has been awarded lifesaver of the year at the Swedish heroes gala and Alvin, who remembers nothing from the incident, describes his feelings about the incident.
- It feels completely unreal that I'm alive, very cool that Theo actually saved my life, says Alvin.
