The Prosecutor's Office has archived the proceedings in which it investigated the tragedy at the Melilla fence that on June 24 left at least 23 immigrants dead.
This has been agreed by the prosecutor of the Immigration Chamber, Beatriz Sánchez, since she did not see evidence of a crime in the actions of the agents of the State security forces and bodies.
As reported in a statement by the Public Ministry, it has notified the Deputy Director of Operations of the Civil Guard of the actions of several agents who threw stones at migrants, in case it constituted a disciplinary offence.
