In the context, local sources stated that the Israeli army used metal bullets and tear gas to disperse weekly marches in separate locations in the occupied West Bank, most notably the towns of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya (north), Osrin, Beit Dajan and Beita in Nablus Governorate (north).

The Palestine Red Crescent Society said - in a statement - that its staff dealt with a metal bullet injury during clashes that broke out in the town of Osrin in Nablus governorate, noting that it dealt with dozens of people suffering from suffocation in Osrin and Beit Dajan.

Separate areas of the West Bank witness weekly activities rejecting settlement on the lines of contact with the Israeli army, which disperses them and pursues demonstrators inside their villages and towns.

According to data from the Israeli human rights movement "Peace Now", there are about 666,000 settlers, 145 settlements, and 140 random outposts (unlicensed by the Israeli government) in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation authorities continue to detain the bodies of 117 martyrs in refrigerators, including 12 children and 11 prisoners, the last of whom is the martyr Nasser Abu Hamid. They also hold 256 bodies in the so-called "numbers graves", along with 74 missing persons.
