As TASS explains, the new document will be supplemented with new articles of the Criminal Code of Russia, which will provide for liability for assistance, involvement, calls and inducement to commit sabotage, as well as for their financing.

According to Andrei Klishas, ​​chairman of the profile committee of the Federation Council, in some cases, unfinished crimes will be subject to more severe punishment, but lawmakers plan to resolve this issue in January.

Earlier, the head of the State Duma Committee on Security, Vasily Piskarev, announced that a bill on punishment up to life imprisonment for facilitating sabotage activities would be submitted to the State Duma.
