A real execution.

On the night of December 15 to 16, 2021, a 34-year-old taxi driver was shot dead outside his home in Maizières-lès-Metz (Moselle).

The autopsy then confirmed the presence of “numerous bullet holes” and that the man “had died following several shots from a small-caliber firearm”, the prosecution had indicated.

A year later, two men were indicted on December 16 and remanded in custody for murder.

They are suspected of it.

Born in 1996 and 1997, they had already been convicted "for drug trafficking", said the public prosecutor, Yves Badorc.

The prosecution had opened a judicial investigation for “assassination” and the investigation, which promised to be “complex” according to the prosecutor, had been entrusted to the gendarmes of the Metz research section.

The two men were also indicted for the theft of the vehicle used in the crime.
