During the meeting, Klimov specified, the parties discussed all significant international topics, including the Ukrainian crisis.
Klimov also commented on the fact that Washington recognized Russia and China as its adversaries.
“First of all, I will emphasize: neither Russia nor China are friends against someone.
It's not in our rules.
In turn, in the United States, even at the official state level, they do not hide that they are ready to restrain Russia and China by almost any means, ”concluded the politician.
Earlier it became known that Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev conveyed Putin's message to Xi Jinping.
Medvedev arrived in Beijing on 21 December.
As reported, during the talks with the head of China, in particular, the topic of strategic partnership was touched upon.
