A serial killer, who inspired the Netflix series "The Serpent", on his way to his country, France.

Charles Sobhraj made headlines in the 1970s, he is linked to at least twenty murders in Asia.

Released for health reasons from his Nepalese prison where he had been serving his sentence since 2003, he is expected this Saturday morning, December 24, in Paris.

In the plane in which he took place, the ex-prisoner delivered his version of the facts to a journalist from Agence France Presse.

France is required to welcome Charles Sobhraj, since he is a French national with a Vietnamese mother and an Indian father. 

It was on the roads of the hippies that "The Serpent" found his victims in the 1970s. Passing himself off as a dealer in precious stones, he approached young Western backpackers, before drugging them, robbing them and then murdering them. .
