He stated the need to "make sure that the Ukrainian government can continue to provide basic fundamental services to the Iranian people", noting that we are talking about health care, education and the work of emergency services. 

On December 12, the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, before the start of the meeting of the foreign ministers of the countries of the union, announced the imposition of sanctions against Iran "for supporting Ukraine", referring to Russia.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on Borrell's reservation with the words that "it will get worse."
