The United Nations claims to have evidence of "
direct involvement
" of the Rwandan defense forces in the DRC.
According to the report that we were able to obtain, the Rwandan army provided "weapons, ammunition and uniforms" to the M23 group, within the framework of military operations carried out in the east of the country, at least " between November 2021 and October 2022”, specifies the UN.
This report follows a report published by the UN on August 4 which argued that Kigali had "

But this new report goes further.
This time, experts gathered footage captured by drones.
They show the supply of "weapons and ammunition" and "recruits" of soldiers who circulated between the Ugandan and Rwandan borders, bound for the M23.
And these conclusions are advanced as
France explicitly condemned
on Tuesday, and for the first time, Rwanda's support for the M23.
So far, the only country to have made its position clear was the United States.
