The firefighters were called shortly before 2 a.m. this Wednesday, alerted to a violent road accident which occurred on rue des Hauts-Pavés, in the city center of Nantes (Loire-Atlantique).
A car has just hit a wall for an as yet undetermined reason.
Inside the vehicle, four young men.
Two of them, aged 18 and 19, were seriously injured and transported in absolute urgency to the neighboring university hospital.
An 18-year-old man was more lightly affected and the fourth passenger in the vehicle was unharmed.
For several hours, the rue des Hauts-Pavés was blocked, "for the needs of the operation", specify the relief.
Six vehicles and 16 firefighters were engaged at the scene of the accident, where the national police and the SMUR were also present.
