This is reported by TASS with reference to the official representative of the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia Andrei Ivanov.

According to him, the Lefortovo Court of the capital satisfied the claim of the supervisory authority on the transfer of property and funds totaling about 180 million rubles belonging to the former traffic police inspector for the North-East Administrative District Sergey Kuznetsov to state revenue.

As it was established, Kuznetsov and his close people during the period of his civil service acquired more than 20 real estate objects and one vehicle.

Money was kept in bank cells.

It is noted that the former traffic police officer did not provide information about the legality of the sources of the funds received.

Earlier, URA.RU reported that three former traffic police inspectors in Yekaterinburg face up to 12 years in prison.

They are accused of taking bribes from drivers caught drunk.
