Risk of landslides and landslides stops expansion plans at the ski tunnel in Gällö

The detailed plan was drawn up to create more tourist accommodation around Mid Sweden 365, as the ski tunnel is called.

One idea is that it should be possible to build cottages up on Björkberget above the tunnel, and also to the west and south.

But the County Administrative Board believes that it has not been sufficiently investigated that there will not be a risk of landslides, block falls and mudflows.

Therefore, the detailed plan is cancelled.

Bräcke municipality will now once again hire the consulting company that provided the basis for the detailed plan so they can describe how the risk of landslides and landslides can be minimized.

It must then be sent out for review.
