The KI forecast on the Swedish economy shows that the recession will be deeper than previously thought.

It is predicted that unemployment will be around eight percent, that inflation will be higher next year and that the interest rate will increase.

And it is a new group that is pessimistic when it comes to the view of the future of their own economy.

This is shown by the economic barometer for December, which measures how companies and households view the economy.

- Normally, it's pensioners who stand out, says SVT's economic commentator Alexander Norén.

But the forecast also states that Swedes are significantly more sensitive to interest rates than before, and that the interest rate therefore does not need to be raised as much over time - see more in the video.
