In the video above, you can see how much the three most expensive firs in Skåne cost, according to SVT's survey.

The tree on Stortorget in Lund cost the municipality almost SEK 100,000, including VAT.

Driving out and setting up the tree was also included.

Even in the case of the tree in Malmö, which is one of the most expensive, delivery and installation were included in the sum.

In the case of the third tree featured in the video above – the one in Helsingborg – transport or set-up was not included in the total.

- That money could have gone to something better, says Simon Dahlberg when he found out what the big Christmas tree in Lund cost.

Light trees for around two million

This year, the municipality of Lund has also purchased seven new "light trees", i.e. strings of lights that are put up on trees around the municipality.
