The conference successfully completed various agenda items, listened to and reviewed the report of the 14th Central Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party, reviewed and approved the "Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the China Association for the Promotion of Democracy" and "The Thirteenth National Representative of the China Association for the The resolution of the General Assembly on the "Constitution of the China Association for the Promotion of Democracy (Amendment)" elected a new Central Committee composed of 209 members.

　　During the first plenary meeting of the 15th Central Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party, the 15th Central Standing Committee consisting of 47 members was elected. Cai Dafeng was elected chairman, Zhu Yongxin, Zhang Yudong, Wang Gang, Tao Kaiyuan, Pang Lijuan, Huang Zhen , Gao Youdong, Li Malin, Liu Kuanren and He Zhimin were elected as vice chairmen.
