Russian troops occupied more advantageous lines in the Donetsk direction as a result of offensive operations, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The official representative of the defense department, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov, during a briefing, said that the artillery thwarted the enemy’s attempts to conduct reconnaissance in battle of the positions of Russian troops in the direction of the settlements of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
As Konashenkov clarified, more than 130 Ukrainian servicemen, two tanks, three armored combat vehicles and three cars were destroyed in this direction in a day.
In the Kupyansk direction, as a result of a fire raid by Russian artillery on the accumulation of manpower and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, more than 20 Ukrainian servicemen, an infantry fighting vehicle and two vehicles were destroyed.
In turn, in the Krasnolimansky direction, artillery defeated the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, concentrated in the areas of settlements of the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) and in the area of \u200b\u200bSerebryansky forestry.
Along with this, four Ukrainian sabotage groups were destroyed.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the total losses of the enemy in the Krasnolimansky direction amounted to 70 military personnel, two armored combat vehicles and two pickup trucks.
In the South Donetsk direction, artillery and Russian troops defeated company tactical groups of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade and the 108th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which made unsuccessful attempts to attack in the areas of DPR settlements.
Along with this, two sabotage groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed on the territory of the republic.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation specified that the total losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this direction amounted to 80 servicemen killed and wounded, two armored combat vehicles and three pickup trucks.
Aviation, missile troops and artillery hit the points of temporary deployment of units of the 61st Infantry-Jäger Brigade, the 124th Territorial Defense Brigade, as well as the group of the Yug Special Operations Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of settlements of the DPR and the Kherson region.
Along with this, 56 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit in firing positions, as well as manpower and military equipment in 139 districts.
Air defense systems shot down eight Ukrainian drones in a day.
In addition, six HIMARS and Uragan multiple rocket launchers were intercepted.
Four American HARM anti-radar missiles were shot down in the air over the Belgorod region.
Search for collaborators of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and caches with weapons
The press service of the Russian Guard reported that in the course of carrying out targeted and reconnaissance and search activities in the territory of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, the divisions of the department identified 24 suspected of complicity with the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a week.
It is also reported that seven units of automatic weapons, Utyos, Browning and DShK machine guns, pistols, grenade launchers, mines, over 200 shells (caliber 122 mm and 125 mm) and grenades of various types, as well as 7 kg plastic, 132 TNT checkers, more than 70 kg of gunpowder and over 16 thousand rounds.
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that soldiers of the Akhmat special forces and the Ingush special forces of volunteers (the Batalkhadzhinsky Rapid Response Detachment) found hundreds of caches of weapons during operational-search activities in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
According to Kadyrov, in the course of this work caches of various ammunition and weapons are revealed, among which there are many NATO samples.
“The number of finds goes to tens and hundreds, and accomplices of the Nazis who are hiding in controlled territories are also identified and detained,” Kadyrov wrote on Telegram.
He stressed that such work will be carried out daily.
