A dramatic accident took place this Tuesday morning in Ernolsheim-lès-Saverne, in the north of Bas-Rhin.

Help was called around 10:30 a.m. when a 57-year-old man was trapped under a tractor.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the victim in cardiorespiratory arrest.

She was able to get out of the vehicle but it was already too late.

The 50-year-old was declared dead by a doctor on site, writes the Bas-Rhin fire and rescue service (Sdis 67) in a press release.
