Senator Shenderyuk-Zhidkov, who fell under sanctions, thanked the EU for appreciating his work

“I thank officials from the EU for the high appreciation of my modest work for the benefit of our Great Motherland.

I serve Russia!” he wrote on Telegram.

Earlier, the European Union expanded the sanctions list.

Under the new EU sanctions were 22 members of the Federation Council and 20 deputies of the State Duma.

The European Union also imposed sanctions against the political parties United Russia, the Liberal Democratic Party, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the SRZP and the New People.

In total, 174 people and organizations fell under the new sanctions.
