Chinanews.com, Montreal, December 16th. When the second phase of the 15th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15) was held in Montreal, Canada, the eco-humanities documentary "Wuyi Mountain Our National Park" was released in December. On the evening of the 15th, a special screening will be held in the Auditorium of the Grand Library of Montreal.

Wang Hong, Deputy Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Montreal, and representatives from the political, business and overseas Chinese circles in Montreal attended the special screening event hosted by Shanghai Radio and Television Station and organized by the China-Canada International Film Festival.

"Wuyi Mountain Our National Park" is the first 8K ultra-high-definition documentary film introducing the ecology and humanities of Chinese national parks. It is jointly produced by Shanghai Radio and Television Documentary Center, Fujian Radio, Film and Television Group, and Shanghai Oriental Media Technology Co., Ltd.

The film demonstrates the high-quality natural environment of China's national parks and the solid results of biodiversity conservation, and reflects China's Chinese solutions and Chinese wisdom to jointly build a community of life on earth.

Wuyishan National Park is one of the first five national parks established in China. It has the most complete and largest mid-subtropical native evergreen broad-leaved forest ecosystem at the same latitude in the world. It can be called a treasure house of animals and plants in southeast China.

Wuyi Mountain also has unparalleled ecological and human resources, and is a world cultural and natural dual heritage recognized by UNESCO.

After the screening of the film, Miao Song, Chairman of the Canada China International Film Festival, Kui Peng, Program Manager of Ecosystem Conservation and Community Development at the Global Environment Institute, and Michel Labrecque, Director of Research and Scientific Development at the Montreal Botanic Gardens, had a discussion on the topic of biodiversity conservation and had a discussion with Live audience interaction.
