The Kremlin press service said that on Friday, December 16, Vladimir Putin worked all day at the joint headquarters of the military branches involved in the special military operation.

It is reported that the head of state got acquainted with the work of the headquarters, heard a report on the progress of the NMD, and also held a meeting and separate meetings with the commanders.

In addition, at a meeting with military leaders, he announced his readiness to listen to proposals for a special operation.

“Comrade officers, today we will hear from the commanders in each operational direction, and I would like to hear your proposals regarding our immediate and medium-term actions,” the president said.

Mobilized military personnel perform tasks during the NWO

Meanwhile, the mobilized Russians are successfully completing tasks during the NWO.

In particular, the Russian Defense Ministry spoke about the work of military personnel of the Western Military District with multiple launch rocket systems.

As the platoon commander with the call sign Don said, mobilized Russians work under his command.

“The guys learned in just a week, then they already drove here, and everyone already knew what to do.

Just recently, the battery commander got in touch with me and thanked the unit for the destruction of an armored personnel carrier and enemy manpower, ”he said.

He noted that after completing the task, the MLRS crews move between the positions from which the fire is fired.

Pushilin on the situation in the DPR

Acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin spoke about the situation on the line of contact in an interview with RT Arabic.

According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not take into account the losses and throw unprepared and poorly armed forces into battle.

As Pushilin noted, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine misleads the Ukrainian military, they often do not understand that they are moving to the first line of their borders.

Shelling of Donbass

Donetsk, Mayorsk, Gorlovka, Golmovsky, Troitskoe, Yasinovataya, Yakovlevka, Makeevka and Staromikhaylovka were under fire.

During shelling, the enemy used artillery of 122, 152 and 155 mm caliber, 120 mm mortars, as well as Grad multiple launch rocket systems.

In total, 157 ammunition was fired in the direction of the DPR.

According to the republic, one man was killed as a result of shelling, seven more people were injured, including a teenager born in 2005.

22 houses and one civilian infrastructure were damaged.

The representative office of the LPR in the JCCC, in turn, reported three shellings.

The settlements of Stakhanov, Lantratovka and Svatovo were under fire.

The enemy fired from the HIMARS MLRS (six missiles) and 155 mm artillery (five shells).

According to the Lugansk authorities, 11 civilians were killed and 17 people were injured during the shelling of Lantratovka.

In addition, the Lantratovskaya secondary school was destroyed, six residential buildings and a post office were also damaged.

In Svatov, a civilian was killed, another was injured.

Six houses were damaged.
