In particular, restrictive measures have been introduced against the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Alexander Kurenkov, the Minister of Culture, Olga Lyubimova, and the head of the Ministry of Education, Sergey Kravtsov.

In addition, the sanctions list includes Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov, Minister of Natural Resources Alexander Kozlov, Labor Minister Anton Kotyakov and Minister of Justice Konstantin Chuichenko.

The European Union also imposed sanctions against the political parties United Russia, the Liberal Democratic Party, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the SRZP and the New People.

In total, 174 people and organizations fell under the new sanctions.
