The representative office of the DPR at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine, on the morning of December 16, stated that 37 facts of firing by the Armed Forces of Ukraine were recorded over the past day.

The enemy shelled such settlements as Donetsk, Golmovsky, Mayorsk, Zaitsevo, Gorlovka and Makeevka.

The fire was fired from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) "Grad", artillery of 122, 152 and 155 mm caliber, as well as mortars of 120 mm caliber.

In total, 222 units of various ammunition were fired in the direction of the DPR.

Two civilians were killed, 13 more people were injured, including a child born in 2012.

30 housing constructions and 18 civil infrastructure facilities were damaged.

According to Donetsk, shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continued on the morning of December 16.

As the mayor of the city Aleksey Kulemzin stated, as a result of one of the shellings of the Ukrainian side, passengers of the city minibus were injured.

“Eyewitnesses report that as a result of the shelling of the Kuibyshev district in the Azotny microdistrict, minibus No. 16 was cut with shrapnel, there are wounded,” he wrote on Telegram.

The representative office of the LPR in the JCCC, in turn, stated that over the past day, shelling of the settlement of Stakhanov with the use of HIMARS MLRS was recorded.

According to the LPR, as a result of the shelling, one person was injured, 72 residential buildings, three kindergartens, a school, as well as more than 20 administrative, industrial and commercial facilities were damaged.

In addition, at about 04:00, the LPR representative office in the JCCC reported that the settlement of Lantratovka had been shelled.

It was reported about three missiles fired from the MLRS HIMARS.

Later, the former LPR ambassador to the Russian Federation, Rodion Miroshnik, said that as a result of these events, eight people were killed and more than 20 were injured.

In addition, the LPR has calculated that since the beginning of the special military operation on the territory of the republic, 152 people have died as a result of Ukrainian aggression.

Andrey Marochko, an officer of the People's Militia of the LPR, said that some units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Artyomovsk region are 30% complete.

Marochko noted that half of the military who are on the line of contact do not have combat experience.

“Many did not hold a machine gun in their hands at all and did not go through the required training,” he said.

Along with this, Marochko said that newly arrived Ukrainian servicemen on the line of contact are forced to sign papers stating that they are criminally liable.
