At a meeting of the floor representatives of both parties presided over by National Assembly Speaker Jin-pyo Kim on the afternoon of today (16th), National Assembly Speaker Jin-pyo Kim urged Ho-young Joo, floor leader of People's Power, and floor leader Park Hong-geun of the Democratic Party to agree on a budget bill.

National Assembly Speaker Kim Jin-pyo shouted at the floor leaders of the ruling and opposition parties in a furious voice, saying, "Politicians must have a minimum of conscience," and "It is to hold on to the wheel of the cart to revive the economy and help the vulnerable."

When the ruling and opposition parties failed to reach an agreement and the passage of the budget bill was delayed, Chairman Kim Jin-pyo proposed an arbitration plan, such as a 1%p cut in the highest corporate tax rate, but unlike the opposition party, which accepted the arbitration plan, the ruling party objected and the agreement was not reached.

Park Hong-geun, the floor leader of the Democratic Party, said, "We must not drag the situation and time with the stubbornness of the ruling party." He demanded concessions from the opposition party, saying, "Please help the government do its best in the moment of crisis."

National Assembly Speaker Kim Jin-pyo emphasized that the budget bill should be passed by next Monday (19th) at the latest.
