Previously, Amadou Ba first unfolded the balance sheet of President Macky Sall and his government, emphasizing priorities such as the fight against the high cost of living and floods as well as the fight for employment, sovereignty and growth. .
He also recalled the president's flagship measures such as improving electrification or lowering the price of certain basic products.

The stabilization of the prices of consumer goods for households will have cost 157 billion in 2022. The main products concerned by this direct support to households are wheat, rice, sugar, corn and oil.
He also looked at the government's prospects with, for example, the exploitation of oil and gas resources which will begin in 2023.
Amadou Ba, who is the fourth Prime Minister in the history of Senegal, spoke in a tense political context since, for the first time in its history, the presidential movement no longer has an absolute majority.
