This is how the government has changed foot in the vacuum cleaner debate

The tip in SVT in February 2021, about not consuming electricity when it is the coldest in Sweden and when electricity is the most expensive, started a debate.

Then both M and KD took the opportunity to attack the then government's energy policy by posing with vacuum cleaners in pictures.

The message then was:

More than a year later, however, it is Energy Minister Ebba Busch (KD) herself who urges everyone in Sweden to save electricity in the near future when electricity is most expensive and winter is coldest.
