During her nearly 70-year career, Merit Hemmingson has come to be known as the Hammond organ queen and folk music legend.
She comes from Gärdsta in Åre municipality and she has released around 30 albums.
Many musicians in widely different genres have been influenced by Merit's music.
In the documentary "Merit Hemmingsson", which you can find here on SVT Play, several of them talk about what she meant to them.
