The opera is based on a historical fact about 400 years ago in the Edo period, when Sotaro Araki, who was a trader in the red seal ship trade, traveled from Nagasaki to what is now central Vietnam and married Princess Anio, a local princess.

The opera is scheduled to be performed at the Hanoi Opera House in September next year, and before the performance, the performers will visit Nagasaki, the stage, and interact with the locals.
