Today, Saturday, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip organized a military parade to mark the 35th anniversary of its founding.

Masked and armed members and leaders of the movement participated in the parade, which the movement called "The Lions' Den".

The participants in the parade, which roamed the streets of Gaza City, raised the green movement flags alongside the Palestinian flags, and pictures of a number of West Bank martyrs, under the name "The Lions' Den".

It is noteworthy that the "Black's Den" organization is an armed Palestinian group whose members belong to various Palestinian factions, and it appeared in early September in a public military parade in the Old City of Nablus in the West Bank.

Hold on to the resistance

Muhammad Hamada, a spokesman for the movement, said that the anniversary of the launch of Hamas coincides with the anniversary of the uprising of stones on December 8, 1987, which sparked 35 years ago, in light of the continuation of the causes that ignited it to this day.

From the increase in occupation crimes in Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the siege of Gaza.

Hamada added, in a speech during a press conference held at the end of the show, "The people renew their commitment to defend themselves and their sanctities by all means," noting that "Saif al-Quds will remain lawful in light of the continued aggression of the occupation against Al-Aqsa and the continued storming of settlers."

Hamada reaffirmed his movement's adherence to the option of armed resistance "as a strategic tool to deter the occupation," and renewed its adherence to "comprehensive resistance and the rejection of all projects of settlement, coordination and normalization with the occupation."

On December 14 of each year, Hamas celebrates the anniversary of its founding, by organizing performances for its military wing (Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades) and organizing marches, exhibitions, and speech festivals.
