Colonel McGregor: US is asking for Armageddon by threatening Russia with nuclear weapons

According to McGregor, quoted by RIA Novosti, at the moment the whole world is in a state of global conflict.

Under such conditions, he stressed, if Washington sends "a signal to the Russians that we are going to do something about nuclear weapons, then we will actually ask for Armageddon."

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that Russia considers nuclear weapons as a deterrent, its use is possible only as a response.

At a meeting with members of the HRC, Putin said that the threat of nuclear war is growing.

According to him, Russia is aware of what nuclear weapons are, and is not going to brandish them like a razor.
