During the inauguration of the Gulf Summit at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh, the Saudi Crown Prince affirmed that the Kingdom intends to present a new vision to promote the development of the Gulf countries.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman said that close cooperation between the Gulf countries will lead to achieving the desired goals.

And the Saudi Crown Prince said: We recall in this summit the great deeds of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, and his efforts to enhance the course of the work of the Council, and we wish success and payment to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State.

He said that the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques regarding the promotion of joint Gulf action contributed to strengthening the strategic role of the Cooperation Council regionally and globally, and accelerating the pace of the Council's march in the economic, security, social and military fields, including the appointment of the unified military command, and activating the role of the Gulf police.

And the Saudi Crown Prince announced that the Kingdom intends to present a second phase of the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, reflecting developments, and taking into account the geopolitical developments that affected the region, as well as lessons learned from experiences in confronting the Corona pandemic, and the growing role of the GCC countries in regional and international issues. and rapid economic growth.

The Saudi crown prince added, "The kingdom affirms its full support for reaching a comprehensive solution to the Yemeni crisis."

"The Kingdom affirms the importance of Iran's commitment to the nuclear agreements," he said, stressing the importance of Iran's commitment to the principles of good neighborliness.

The Saudi Crown Prince affirmed that hydrocarbon energy sources will remain an important resource to meet the world's needs for decades to come.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman said, "The Kingdom - aware of the importance of sustainable development and preserving the environment, and based on our responsibility towards the world and future generations - will continue joint work to confront climate change, and strive seriously to solve and address its problems."

He stated that the Kingdom has taken many measures in this field, as it launched several initiatives, including the Saudi Green Initiative, the Green Middle East Initiative, the concept of a circular carbon economy, and many initiatives aimed at developing sustainable energy sources.

He stressed that the Gulf countries will remain a reliable source of energy in the world, and indicated that the Gulf Cooperation Council is aware of the importance of sustainable development, pointing to the continuation of work to confront climate change, and the serious endeavor to solve and address its effects.

The Saudi Crown Prince congratulated Qatar on the occasion of its outstanding success in hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which is currently being held in the capital, Doha.
