Four years after its appearance, the hashtag #Balancetonyoutubeur resurfaced on social networks.

And for good reason, the YouTube megastar with 12 million subscribers, Norman Thavaud, was placed in police custody for rape and corruption of minors earlier this week.

It ended on Tuesday, but the investigation against the videographer continues.

The comedian, 35 years old today, is not the only youtuber in whom justice is interested.

Baptiste Mortier-Dumont, alias ExperimentBoy, is under investigation for corruption of minors, opened by the Lyon public prosecutor's office in June 2020. As for Léo Grasset, author of the DirtyBiology channel, he is accused of sexual harassment and rape.

An investigation was opened at the end of November, after complaints from two women.

It's a tweet from Squeezie, another big head of the platform, who launched the hashtag #Balancetonyoutubeur in 2018, in reference to #Balancetonporc.

To date, none of the Youtubers has been convicted by the courts, they all remain presumed innocent.
