China and Gulf countries to set up investment council and nuclear security center

According to RIA Novosti, this was stated by Chinese President Xi Jinping, speaking at a meeting with the heads of the GCC member countries, which is taking place in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.

He added that China and countries in the region agreed to work together to face the challenges facing humanity.

Earlier, Xi Jinping announced Beijing's readiness to strengthen coordination with Riyadh in the energy sector.
