A doctor from Bourgoin-Jallieu (Isère) made a radical decision.

On November 28, he announced the closure of his practice due to repeated racial slurs and death threats against him and some of his patients.

He assures that his neighbor is responsible for these remarks, reports France Bleu Isère.

The facts would have started as soon as he was installed in 2017. The doctor and his patients of foreign origin would have immediately been verbally attacked by this neighbor.

The practitioner filed a complaint and this man was the subject of a legal warning.

But that didn't stop him.

He would have reoffended at the end of November.

The doctor has therefore decided to close his practice to ensure his safety and that of his patients.

“I cannot practice in these conditions of insecurity”, he explains, referring to a “hunter”, “armed” neighbor who “can take action at any time”.

For now, the professional does not yet know when it will reopen.

He filed a new complaint and the Order of Physicians of Isère was seized.
