  • The Panel Feijóo's advantage is shortened but Sánchez does not recover his voters

The Popular Party is updating its image under the mandate of Alberto Núñez Feijóo, in such a way that the popular

denomination has begun to be left behind

to return to using the full name of the formation and not an adjective.

This decision has already been seen on social networks, so that on Twitter the PP is no longer identified with @populares.

This denomination does not lead at this moment to the official profile of the party led by Feijóo, which is now found as @ppopular.

As has happened on Twitter, popular sources consulted by Servimedia explain that this change is expected to soon reach the facade of the national headquarters of the group, located at number 13 Calle Génova in Madrid.

In any case, the idea is to recover the name of the party and not use an adjective to describe itself in this new era under Feijóo's mandate.

Likewise, they want to give the logo a more sober and serious air and use only the color blue.

In addition, in the communications sent by the PP, the evolution has also been verified and now it reads Partido Popular and next to it the initials, PP, with the seagull emulating a heart painted in blue.

Before,

popular

was used as the seal of the house in any official information.

The old logo of the PP, which can still be seen at the headquarters on Calle Génova. ÁNGEL NAVARRETE

It was on January 14, 2019 when Genoa released its logo on the occasion of the National Married Convention.

So, it was decided to assert the

popular

word with a seagull that simulated a heart with the colors of the Spanish flag.

At that time it was said that this symbology was compatible with that of the Popular Party, although

popular

was gaining ground.

That image to identify the PP chosen by Casado is the one that currently appears at the national headquarters of the PP.

On the main façade of the building the initials appear painted in white and with the flag of Spain as a seagull under a blue background.

It also reads 'popular' in large white letters -with a navy blue background- next to the seagull with the Spanish flag.

Now it is on the table that the change will also be implemented soon on the façade of the party's flagship.

In any case, the aforementioned popular

sources

indicate that this process of leaving behind the

popular

expression in the regional and provincial headquarters and in the signage used in events will be gradual, in such a way that there is no need to dispense with this denomination of a day to day if it is still being used.
