France is preparing to simulate a regional power cut tomorrow

The French authorities intend to simulate a temporary and controlled interruption of the electricity supply in one of the regions on Friday.

This comes at a time when France expects bottlenecks in the electricity supply during the next month, due to the maintenance of a number of its nuclear plants.

Therefore, the government began preparing to cut electricity locally in some areas during the period of peak electrical load on the grid, in order to avoid any outages of electricity in the country.

Tomorrow, electricity production companies will simulate power cuts without actually cutting them.

And if France is forced to actually cut off electricity from any region, it will announce that a day before the cut, so that consumers can prepare for such an outage.
