According to RIA Novosti, the project has been approved by the relevant committees of both houses of Congress.
It is noted that the draft US defense budget also involves the exclusion of Russian government officials from the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, the Financial Stability Board and the International Association of Insurance Supervisors.
In addition, the US defense budget includes an additional $800 million in aid to Ukraine and includes a permanent ban on the exchange of information on missile defense systems with Russia.
